Wedding Shoes and Boots for Brides that Aren't Heels
One of the most important things for any bride is making sure your wedding dress is complete with a great pair or shoes or boots. If you’re like me, you’re constantly on the go. You value comfort over style (but you want some of that too) and your wedding day is no exception. Why suffer through what should be one of the most fun days of your life because of painful heels? I went back through some of my former brides’ awesome alternatives to wedding day heels. Enjoy!
1. Custom-Painted Toms
Brittany was ALL about the sweet personal touches at her wedding! So it was no surprise that she incorporated her cheery sunflower motif even on her shoes. These custom Toms got a lot of attention. Bonus- she could wear them daily and reminisce about her wedding.
Find them here: Custom-Painted Toms
2. Sparkly Keds
Julie wanted something comfy but also glam- so sparkly keds to the rescue! She was able to go all day and dance all night because of her rocking footwear. Her rose gold keds are so cute, they’re on my wishlist!

3. Barefoot or Barefoot Sandals (Ideal for beach weddings)
I loved that my friend Melissa decided to run away to the beach to get married. We had such a magical day celebrating and her “barefoot sandals” were perfect.
Here’s a set I like a lot: Barefoot Crystal Anklets
4. Cowboy Boots
A lot of my brides love their boots! From gorgeous floral-embroidered ones to completely custom-made, we’ve seen- and love- them all!

5. Rhinestone Sandals
Jenn wanted something comfy and chic so she elected for these really cute rhinestone sandals for her warm November wedding.

6. Kitten Heels
Christine was one of the tiniest brides I’ve ever had. In fact, I was so excited because I finally could finally take bridal portraits without lugging a step ladder everywhere! She didn’t want her groom to completely tower over her so she opted for these adorable ribbon-tied kitten heels.

7. Hiking Boots
My crampons were my best friend when Will and I were renewing our vows in Iceland (read more about that here). So, of course, we had to immortalize them in our images! Bonus points, pair some funky socks with them!
My boots: Keen Hiking Boots
My crampons: Crampon Spikes
