Water Bear utilizes a client-centered approach to commercial underwater media content creation. Through that approach, we involve our clients in every aspect of the creative process from brainstorming sessions to building the delivered products. You can be as involved, or not involved as you want. Many of our clients are on-site or even hands-on during production days as well.

We’ve worked with a variety of commercial underwater product companies and even non-water based entities to create awesome content. We’ve partnered with non-profit organizations, consumer product manufacturers and retailers, service-oriented companies, and many other types. The focus of the content created has been for online and print marketing where we’ve created photos, short format social media video content, long format on-line video content, and branding awareness content.

Water Bear Studios facilities consists of an indoor production studio environment as well as an outdoor custom underwater studio. Our team is capable of creating photographic and video content including aerial drone content (Part 107 licensed). Additionally, Water Bear has a roster of skilled and experienced underwater models.

Post-production is a large part of the content creation process. Our team is skilled with photo and graphic content editing with the Adobe software suite as well as video content production. We utilize a team of talented editors and graphics artists ready to make your brand and marketing visions a reality.

There are many factors that go into determining the cost for commercial underwater media creation. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your goals for the project including your desired outputs and created content. We will build a project budget and proposal that will detail not only the cost, but also the end results so you can be sure you’re getting exactly what you’ve come to us for.

Developing a project budget and proposal requires meeting with you to discuss your goals and desired products. Many of the projects we collaborate on have definitive end results and timelines however, in some cases, you may request an on-going partnership as your brand releases new products, goes through continued growth and expansion, or just wants a continual flow of new and exciting content. We will listen to all your needs and develop and fair proposal that will define not only the budget for the project, but also the deliverables you will receive and the terms of the on-going relationship. We strive to be fully transparent with our clients so there are no hidden surprises down the road.

Our team has spent years building our foundation and skills to producing and creating the best underwater content. Not only do we use professional grade cameras, lighting, equipment, and safety gear, our team is highly experienced and skills in all facets of underwater production work including the use of SCUBA, SNUBA, and Freediving.

Water Bear was worked to develop a standard of underwater production safety. Our team has spent years creating protocols, finding skilled and experienced team members, and building a rosters of well trained and talented safety specialists and models. Our core team are certified divers and freedivers and maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, Freediver Emergency Medical Response, and a variety of other specialties. Depending on the location of your shoots, and the environment we’re producing in, we may have a Safety Coordinator, Divemaster and/or, a Registered Nurse on-site. Every shoot is begun with a site safety briefing to ensure everyone on-site understands the safety expectations.
