Have you ever wanted to know what is in my professional photographer gear bag when I’m doing a shoot for a client? Check out some of my favorite materials that I carry in my camera bag, which can all be found on Amazon through the links below!
Camera
The camera that I use for the majority of my shoots is the Nikon D750 FX-format Digital SLR Camera. With this camera, I can attach different lenses which are listed below.
Lenses
I love using the Nikon 70-200 mm lens when doing maternity underwater shoots, single-child photo shoots or photographing adults. This is has a wide camera lens, which creates more space for the shot.
I use the Nikon 24-70 mm lens for family photoshoots, especially ones with young children because I can get a closer shot and give more direction.
The Nikon 50 mm lens is my favorite one because it gives pretty and creamy backdrops while keeping the subject sharp and in tact.
This protection filter has saved my camera lenses on numerous occasions. This is a great investment to make to ensure the protection of your camera in the case that your camera drops on the floor. And it’s less than $10!
Extra Goodies
I always carry extra rechargeable batteries with me in case the current battery in my camera loses its charge. Who doesn’t like to be prepared?
This holster is very reliable and makes it easy for me to carry all my materials in an efficient way.
These mini clamps are ideal for quick alterations when a dress or shirt is too big on a client.
Rain Gear
With living in Florida, you always need to be prepared for all types of weather. That’s why I also bring a rain cover for my cameras to photography shoots as well to make sure that my cameras don’t get water damage from the rain.
We hope that this guide helps current and future photographers in bringing the right items to upcoming shoots. My goal is to make sure that all photographers have the right tools to ensure a successful photoshoot for their clients!
